Gluten-free powder mix for preparing Red Velvet Cake. In just a few steps, it allows you to obtain the batter of the iconic American cake with its distinctive red color. Ideal for the traditional version as well as for modern creations such as cupcakes and single-serve portions.
Ingredients:
400 g Babbi Home Bakery Red Velvet Mix
145 g butter or vegetable oil
4 medium eggs (about 200 g)
Method:
Place the Babbi Home Bakery Red Velvet Mix in a bowl, add the softened butter and the eggs.
Mix with an electric whisk for about 3 minutes, until the batter is smooth and slightly lighter in colour.
Pour the mixture into a greased 18–20 cm cake tin and bake at 170°C (fan) or 180°C (conventional) for about 40–50 minutes.
Fill as desired with cream cheese mousse or buttercream; for an extra touch of indulgence, add fresh fruit.
